The Klan is the U.S. Government - Represent Our Resistance - By Dr. Lenore J. Daniels, PhD - BlackCommentator.com Editorial Board

Those who believe that the president or the vice-president and the congress and the supreme kourt run this country are sadly mistaken. The almighty dollar is king; those who have the most money control the country and, through campaign contributions, buy and sell presidents, congressmen, and judges, the ones who pass the laws and enforce the law that benefit their benefactors.
-Assata Shakur, Assata: An Autobiography

The freedom of the murderers is virtually guaranteed - so long as the murders have the might of the U.S. government behind them. This was the case with the Ku Klux Klan. The KKK was more than a vigilant group. As a preeminent organization, the KKK was not limited to southern states but consisted of respectable military as well as civil leadership that included clergy, local, state, and federal politicians, and local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel. Civilian populations participated in the witch hunts and terrorism, but the organizers had a clear purpose: to control the population of newly freed Blacks and, in the process, for the protection of Americas social, political, economic life, stage executions with immunity granted by the U.S. governments silence.

A succession of U.S. presidents and their administrations looked the other way, eyeing the resources on the lands in the southwest, while Black Americans were lynched, their homes and business burned to the ground, and many were chased out of what became white controlled communities of good ole Americans.

The Klan is legitimate now! We did not witness a truth-finding investigation after the murders of civil rights organizers, El Hajj Malik Shabazz (Malcolm X), or Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Why? And why are we now in a post racial era with a Black man in the White House?

The Ku Klux Klan is legitimate now! The Klan is the U.S. government - still in the business of protecting the social, political, economic control of the American Empire, and guaranteeing the immunity of its practice of, now, global terrorism.

Reaching the end of Peace Mans first year in the White House, we can say that the ancestors of the Ku Klux Klan and its living descendents are proud of the change in Washington. The Black Peace Man, who has the audacity to proclaim himself the product of Kings legacy, has taken to heart the Klans lynchem and Chicago gangs shoot-to-kill policy of white supremacy.

Smoke em, out, says Peace Man, looking to the East. American lives are on the line! American lives are all that matters, and in the name of American lives, and with more fervor than ever, the Klan is having a field day!

On January 1, 2010, 5 Blackwater (now known as XE or a paramilitary unit of trained terrorists) security guards were found innocent of killing 17 Iraqi civilians (including children) in Nisour Square, Baghdad on September 16, 2007. The case was thrown out of court. What are we - not human? Abdul Wahab Adul Khader was one of the 20 wounded by Blackwaters guards (Iraqis Angered as Blackwater Charges Are Dropped, NYT). Why do they have the right to kill people?

On November 19, 2005, 24 Iraqis, 15 noncombatant, including children, were killed by U.S. Marines in what is known as the Haditha Massacre. Following an investigation, charges against 8 Marines involved in the incident were dropped.

The pattern of acquitting the innocent of murder is not new, and it continues today within the U.S. .

Amadou Diallo, the unarmed 23-year old Guinean immigrant was fired at 41 times by 4 New York police on February 4, 1999. Diallo looked like the description of a wanted serial rapist. A year later, the officers responsible were free to go! Acquitted!

On May 3, 2008, three detectives involved in the 50-shot killing of unarmed, groom-to-be, Sean Bell, received acquittals. The judge indicated that the police officers' version of events was more credible than the victims' version. The people have not proved beyond a reasonable doubt that each defendant was not justified in firing, he said (Huffington Post). The 3 detectives were free to go!

On August 4, 2008 in Lima, Ohio, another white police officer, Sgt. Joseph Chavalia, received his walking papers following the shooting death of an unarmed Black woman, 26-year-old Tarika Wilson. Wilson was holding her year-old son who was also shot in the shoulder and hand during a January 4, 2008 SWAT raid on her house. One of the childs fingers was amputated. (Associated Press).

Officer Chavalia was free to go!

BART Police Chief Gary Gee stated that his agency is committed to completing an unbiased, thorough and detailed investigation into the shooting death of Oscar Grant III, on New Years Day 2009, by BART police officer Johannes Mehserle (Huffington Post). Mehserles trail in Los Angles is expected to take place later this year. But, former BART police officer Mehserle, according to his attorney Christopher Miller, is a fine young man. Miller expects his client (the fine young man) will be cleared of murdering an unarmed young man. Mehserles lawyer seems to be channeling the history of exonerating State violence, particularly when State violence is employed to repress rebellion from the Red, Black, Brown populations in the U.S. Mehserle, according to Miller, will be free to go!

Red Alerts! Red, Black, and Brown people in the U.S. know something about terrorist surprise attacks!

Certainly appears to me that the Klan is not only in the business of practicing terrorism with impunity but also in the business of continuing the practice of exonerating the perpetrators of racial profiling now on a grand scale.

The Peace Mans administration called the Goldstone Report deeply flawed. It is not just the Report the administration considers deeply flawed. The 1,166 to over 1,400 Gazans, including over 300 children, too, were deeply flawed, and as a result, their flawed racial and religious difference justified the siege on Gaza, December 27, 2008 to January 18, 2009 by Israel, and its suppliers of high-tech weaponry, the U.S. Four thousand homes, 80 government buildings, hospitals, schools, roads, markets, in Gaza were destroyed - reminiscent of the Klans beginning years of waging terrorism.

Peace Mans administration dismissed the Goldstone Report, but, on September 29, 2009, US Assistant Secretary of State Michael Posner announced that the United States was confident that Israel, as a democracy with a well-established commitment to the rule of law, has the institutions and ability to carry out robust investigations into these allegations (Human Rights Watch).

In other words, the Israeli government and the U.S. government acquit themselves or is it itself (as the U.S. and Israel seem one entity of Klanish terrorism) on the grounds that it is a democracy, with a well-established commitment to the rule of law. No international tribunal hearing for Israels assault on Gaza.

Bush Jr. and Darth Vader himself could not ask for more compliance with Peace Mans well-established commitment to maintaining the U.S.s hegemony as manipulators of humanity and the Earths resources.

The Klan is the best at whipping up hysteria! Look under your bed for terrorists! Look for suspicious packages in the basement of your church! U.S. citizens are asked to look for - rather than ignore - dark-skinned people! Watch and then report those in suspicious religious attire! Men dressed in black gowns with white collars, or with men wearing yarmulkes are fine. Women with straight, silky processed hair or lengthy attachments are okay. But be alert when women in veils, with men in turbans, or with men or women in African attire are about, particularly if you cannot understand a word they are saying!

Distractions abound! Should the U.S. citizenry recognize the white sheets worn underneath the dark suits of those in control of the government, their eyes would no longer focus on their immediate surroundings in an effort to report a terrorists to the authorities. Consequently, the U.S. governments 5 corporate PR firms further instruct citizens about conniving dark-skinned people with tales of terror plots against them - Americans! - (because Americans have freedom). Because the U.S. citizenry was willing to believe it has freedom and it can be taken away from them by the terrorists from without; because it is willing to believes the PR firms (those corporate cable and print news outlets) story that Peace Man was walking the halls of the White House contemplating the hard decision of whether or not to send 40,000 additional troops (their precious young men and women) to Afghanistan, the U.S. citizenry were never told by these PR firms that in November 2009, Peace Man was signing a military pact with Yemen. With the 40,000 plus additional troops for Afghanistan certain, Washington moved on to plot a justifying narrative to conduct bombing raids in Yemen.

On December 25, 2009, a terrorist incident created the perfect excuse to present Yemen to the world as the foremost terrorist state! What happened to Afghanistan? Well, it is happening! Yemen, another poor country with a chaotic government, where the Nigerian Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab was trained before boarding a plane headed for the U.S., Yemen, we now discover, urged to look to the West, signed a pact - Peace Pact? - to receive peacemaking weaponry from the U.S., the worlds largest arms dealer, so Yemen, too, along with so many Klan foot soldiers, can rain down misery and death upon its poor population.

The Peace Mans ever-so-causally hooded administration insists that state sponsored terrorism is out there and his administration has complied a list (which used to be yea long with the names of Black Americans, terrorists) of countries, now, whole countries harboring these darkies, these boogie men, these niggers we are compelled to hate. The hoods at the White House and their hounds at the Pentagon unfurl the list: Afghanistan, Algeria, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.

Peace Man, ever the causal Constitutional lawyer, will check in with the Chiquita Banana attorney at the Justice Department to ensure the U.S. and its Klan are absolved of murdering civilian populations in the above countries and others waging proxy wars for the administration.

Now, the U.S. is not on the list and neither is Israel. Britain, Columbia, Indonesia, and Ethiopia are also not on the list.

Honduras is not on the list!

The un-elected regime in the Honduras is not on the list. The coup regime in the Honduras is not on the list!

Yet, the bodies of slain activists are piling up, Killing Organizers in Honduras (Upside Down World). The international media, Joseph Shansky writes, is quiet while a dedicated network of friends experience the systematic killings of their companero/a. The killings are happening almost faster than they can be recorded, Shansky writes.

What is this, if not state sponsored terrorism? The victims, the author writes, are those perceived as the biggest threats to the coup establishment. These victims, Shansky explains, are the bravest, and thus the most vulnerable: Members of the Popular Resistance against the coup. Their friends and family. People who provide the Resistance with food and shelter. Teachers, students, and ordinary citizens who simply recognize the fallacy of an un-elected regime taking over their country. All associated with the Resistance have faced constant and growing repercussions for their courage in protesting the coup.

So, then, these victims of state-sponsored terrorism are not fighters for democracy with a well-established commitment to the rule of law? Well, apparently not. Follow the money, and the money is not among these poor and working class citizens of the Honduras. That is the way American democracy works: If you really want democracy, you are an enemy of this - the U.S. - broker of terrorism!

The bodies had names like Marcos Vinicio Matute Acosta and Roger Andrs Reyes Aguilar suspect names. If these people had not been killed by the Klan-like gang trained at the School of the Americas, they would have been hunted down and stuffed into a cell on ICEs turf and held indefinitely - for the protection of American lives, of course.

As Shansky notes, silence from the U.S. and Europe and their respective PR firms have acquitted the Honduras terrorist regime: The international community, given the green light by the US that democratic order has returned via elections, means it is open season for violent forces in Honduras working to tear apart the political unity of the Resistance Front against the coup.

So the bodies piling up in the streets in the Honduras, as these bodies are, are not evidence enough for the community organizer himself, Peace Man, and his security of state, that Honduras is a state-sponsored-terrorist regime?

That is immunity for the imperial wizards of Amerikkka!

The new list of suspected countries of terrorists is the pretext that allows the U.S. to acquit itself of any wrongdoing as it is the self-proclaimed innocence in pursuit of evil.

If we assume Peace Man is politically nave; Peace Man wants to experience the power, as he often says, of this great country; if he is now caught in something for which power and great country has befuddled him, then he is being terrorized into committing terrorism by sheets. If, one the other hand, Peace Man is, as he claims, the commander-in-chief; if he was pleased to accept the backing of Goldman Sachs since Goldman Sachs found in this Black man something acceptable; and if he was and still is willing to bow to the Klan, then he has willingly submitted to a form of slavery in which he offers his voice and his rhetorical skills in the service of the white sheets. Maybe it is all of the above? Or is it something more sinister: The wizards went looking for a grand wizard who could charm the U.S. citizenry into compliance with everlasting war?

Why is it that other nations with their eyes open now recognize the white sheets and the flaming crosses behind the rhetoric of peace in Washington D.C.?
