Excuse to Go Klan

"In the wake of the deadly terror attacks
in Paris, Republicans across the board
want to change the rules in the middle
of the game. Isn’t it funny how a slew
of white corpses turn men into mice?"

Isn’t this the strangest thing? Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz joined the chorus of Republican governors vowing to defy the Obama administration’s plan to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees into the United States. Isn’t it funny that Republicans had no problem accepting refugees from wherever, as long as they served their purpose? Now that they’re scared to death, they want to put the brakes on.

In the wake of the deadly terror attacks in Paris, Republicans across the board want to change the rules in the middle of the game. Isn’t it funny how a slew of white corpses turn men into mice?

Now, Republicans don’t mind opening the floodgates to Pakistani and migrants from India when they wanted more techies? Nor, do they mind opening the floodgates to brown bodies from South of the Border when they want their houses cleaned, gardens manicured or fruit picked; all the while undercutting American wages and employment opportunities.

The governors of at least 27 states — all but one of them Republican — say they will refuse to accept any refugees from Syria following the revelation that one of the terrorists involved in Friday’s attacks may have entered Europe as part of a wave of migrants from the war-torn region. None of those 27 governors spoke up to demand that the US stop de-stabilizing those African countries. On the positive side, there are 15 states that are willing to accept Syrians (…and the jobs Black Americans won’t get when the Syrians arrive is another commentary).

Now, Americans—white Americans—are playing the race card. It’s evident that “terrorism” fear is the veil being used in lieu of fear of “those dark skinned-people.” Whenever it comes to carrying out “The American Way,” the way gets lost when the people are dark. Remember Haitians? Remember Rwandans? Sure, you’ve got institutional selective memory, huh?

After Friday the 13th November attack in Paris, white people are scared…once again. Fear is the usual excuse for acts of racism, though no one openly claims it. For all of the de-stabilization that the US partakes in, they should be scared.

And, Republicans are running with people’s heightened sense of fear…

While Republicans are whipping up the fear of Syrians turning into truck bombers on American soil, I know they really are not the dangerous ones. Consider, William Hudson―the Texas man charged with killing six people at an East Texas campsite in early November 2015. Hudson had befriended the group earlier, even helping them dislodge one of their vehicles from mud. Let’s continue.

Thirty-three year old William Hudson met the seven people―all members of two families― and spent time speaking with them on a Saturday. One of the campers’ vehicles became stuck in mud and Hudson pulled it out. Later, the seven campers, with Hudson, gathered around the campsite, hanging out together. What happens next?

Hudson returned hours later and killed six of them, though authorities have not said how or why. The bodies of a man and a woman were found in a travel camper and four bodies, including one child, were later pulled from a pond about a half-mile away. One woman survived and alerted authorities.

Now, back to fear of Syrians..The US unapologetically claims an exceptionalism that’s insulting to anyone else’s existence. Who do you know that enjoys being the butt of someone else’s supremacy? That’s the idealism of the infamous Ku Klux Klan.

Hudson’s alleged murder spree and the KKK epitomize evil. And, if they don’t, what does? White men have proven themselves to be as dangerous—if not more—than any other group of people on planet earth! Yes, I am sick and tired of America’s white society making me out to be the bad guy―and any brown person, or any non-Western European, non-Christian―for that matter. Any people with pigment darker than a brown paper bag gets attacked by people of Western European heritage. This is not hyperbole. I’m stating an fact.

So. If you want to talk about keeping danger out of this country, start with Western European white people. They’ve historically harmed everyone they’ve encountered. Just ask the Arawaks of the Caribbean or First Nations people of the Americas. I see these recent acts of terrorism as simply an excuse to go Klan, resulting in subversive acts of genocide against brown and black people.
