Dear Lord
Deliver Us From Evil
(Donald Trump)

"I submit, for Donald Trump to be rejected,
denounced and shunned by 'most' of
White America, they’d have to have a
collective conscience, and I’d argue even
half-a-century later - they’ve no conscience."

Evil . . . profoundly immoral and malevolent - additional synonyms: wicked, bad, wrong, immoral, sinful, foul, vile, dishonorable, corrupt, iniquitous, depraved, reprobate, villainous, nefarious, vicious, malicious, malevolent, sinister, demonic, devilish, diabolic, fiendish, dark, monstrous, shocking, despicable, atrocious, heinous, odious, contemptible, horrible, lowdown and dirty. I was going to “thin” the list, but there wasn’t a word which I didn’t think arguably “fits” Donald Trump like a cheap-ass “Made in China” Trump suit.

This audacious aristocrat and the nation within this nation of racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic,i.e., the millions of deplorable individuals he’s attracted, kinda like flies to . . . , it seems they can't be shamed for the bigoted views they embrace. As Stokely Carmichael offered to Martin Luther King 50-plus years ago: “In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent has to have a conscience. The United States has no conscience." I submit, for Donald Trump to be rejected, denounced and shunned by “most” of White America, they’d have to have a collective conscience, and I’d argue even half-a-century later - they’ve no conscience.

Now we know who they are.

Black America can heed the First Lady’s classy, hi-minded declaration if we like, take the “high road” all we want, but remember the angry White cavemen who are demanding “their” country back, these enraged folks are going to gleefully, deliberately take the “low-road.” Michelle Obama’s well-received sentiment reflects the enlightened “feminization” of the Afro-American “establishment” mindset, which is unfortunately confronting a neanderthal minded all-American WASP culture. Black folks aren't moving to overpower, force or manhandle the millions of rank n’ file Rednecks into “seeing the light” of brother and sisterhood and treating Americans of color like “equal” human peers. . . . no, instead we’re hoping to shame, shame. shame a group of people whose shared war-like culture, their morals, values, standards and narcissistic viewpoints indicate, hell scream from the highest peaks. . . they can't be shamed - they’ve no conscience.

Here’s what they talked about in those history classes you ditched in high school; White men aren’t ashamed, in the least bit, when it comes to rationalizing, minimizing and justifying American Slavery, Black Codes and Jim Crow laws, not humiliated generations of White folks deliberately crafted “separate n’ unequal” United States from say circa 1880 on, until . . . today. Not surprisingly White men can logically explain-away Indian Reservations, broken treaties and even dismiss the land grab we see playing out for the umpteenth-time in North Dakota over oil - Black gold, Texas Tea; no embarrassment, no guilt. Donald Trump is a major stockholder in “Energy Partners” the company constructing the pipeline through American Indian country. Additionally “Trump-thought” reasons-away “why” a woman should remain barefoot, unlearned and with child. Trump’s already lauded yesteryear’s WWII Japanese Interment camps, and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The artful draft-dodger can’t wait to nuke a few 3rd world countries. Between Trump, Newt, Rush, Rudy, Hannity and Dick Cheney - their “exceptional” WASP culture harbors few, if any regrets - no contrition and non-apologetic. Yet MSNBC’s Joy Reid and Jonathan Capehart, Black journalist I respect, somehow naively believe Trump and his “Imperial Stormtroopers” can be “made-to” realize the error of their ways, humanize their stone-cold hearts, minds n’ souls. Grow, evolve - perhaps repent, sing , and honestly mean “We are the world.”

I don’t think so. I truly marvel at these naive, turn-of-the-century “wishful thinking” type perspectives because I’d argue 50% plus of the US White population aren’t precisely sure how “human” Black folks are.

Come November 9th, or 10 . . . or perhaps whenever they decipher this cluster-muck of an election, that particular day will live too in infamy, win or lose, this nation, the destiny of this decadent empire is at Trump’s mercy, our fate rest in his little orange hands.

So, when you hit your knees tonight, please, please, please pray-for all Americans of color, and please pray-for the uncontrollable arrogant, aggressive White women like Hillary and Elizabeth who dare question their fathers, brothers and husbands - hell, pray-for the whole damn world, beg the Gods to deliver-us, you, your children from an looming, threatening evil . . . which has no conscience.

Evil . . . Donald Trump - same flipping entity.
