As Emperor Trump addresses the world . . . It was so quiet in the great room . . . you could hear a rat piss on cotton, and that sad silent reality just burns my behind. As I was witnessing a trifling piece of American history unfold in front of my eyes and pondering what a thin line exists between pimpin’, preachin’ and presidenting I was waiting for someone on the "Left" to stand-up and bellow-out "you lie you stinking piece of . . ." Well, I’m still waiting right now as you read this. I;ll be waiting the rest of the winter months because my side, the "Left" has the fire and flare of a 1988 Walkman.

Here’s what’s clear; Black, Brown Red n’ Yellow folks, by allowing the Democratic Party to represent us in the cage death match that is US politics. it’s like going to a gunfight with a box of condoms or a pair of spandex pants . . . it makes no sense.

When I heard South-Central LA Congresswoman Maxine Waters wasn’t going to be at Trump’s propaganda rally out of a sense of disgust and disrespect for this conman hustler holed-up in the White House I knew the chance of someone in the Democratic Party standing-up and speaking uncut, unfiltered truth to tyrannical power was a slim, weak n’ meek chance to be sure. I knew there’d be no "chaining n gagin’" of a defiant voice like we had with Black Panther Party co-chair Bobby Seale back in 1968 in Chi-town. And this lack of outrage contempt and defiance scares me. These cats on the "Left" weren’t willing to deliver a "you lie" on the many opportunities Trump gave them.

It was one of those "they went low and we’re going high" Obama moments which just light a blue flame under my ass. The "Right" was due a "you lie" but the "glee club" alumni masquerading as civil servants didn’t have the guts, brains or balls to give these SOB’s a piece of their own medicine. It’s like momma's boys and little ladies went out in the back yard to get their ass kicked by the guys on the football team and in the rifle club.

Even after stifling and now stealing President Obama’s Supreme court nominee, after the disrespectful shouts of "you lie", no "Progressives" felt compelled, motivated nor justified in fighting fire with fire - we continued to treat a conman - endorsed by the Klan and Nazis, who’s already waging war on Americans of color . . . while the Democrats behaved like mild mannered Cub Scouts.

God help us all.

And come Wednesday morning it seemed the already convicted press was willing to pronounce Trump’s speech in front of a joint congress as a legitimate presidential speech. How can a non legit Big Apple hustler deliver anything legit? Why are liberal-minded White folks so quick to bend, to compromise, to see if Donald Trump wakes-up a different man every day from his nightly diatribes.

We Americans of color have placed our fate, our destiny in the hands of a political party not willing to fight, yet we are unquestionably in a fight, a back alley brawl. I was waiting for a mass exodus, a parade of Congress People marching out chanting "Power to the People!" or "Lock his dishonest ass up . . .!", but no we didn’t get any of that - it would be impolite. My momma always told me to "tell the truth" she didn’t say anything about "being polite."

I'm sorry, but these attempts by both Trump and the nation’s mainstream press to humanize and legitimize this well dressed caveman is a waste of time, he’s told us, the nation, the world "who" and "what" he is - a racist, sexist elitist aristocrat who yearns to be king of the world.
