Most Black NFL Players Would
Put Their Own Mommas
On the Corner
If the Price Was Right

"Million dollar slaves in a gazillion dollar industry,
and as long as they keep getting paid so much
moolah - we’ll only see a Colin Kaepernick every so often."

Most Black NFL players, I humbly submit, would put their own mommas on the corner - if the price was right. I’m sorry gentlemen, but if the helmet fits . . . then strap-it-on. They’ve got a lot in common with the sellouts in the movie “Harriet” - a lot in common with the Uncle Toms who pathetically back Trump: they’ve no brains or backbone.

Here, lets walk n’ talk, permit me to back-up what I know is fightin’ words.

The NFL’s ownership is comprised of super rich white men, white men gone mad - it is a round-table of aristocratic rednecks and "good ol' boys” who overwhelmingly support the “Party of Trump.” It’s no secret the league's owners have given millions to Trump’s band of deplorable sexist and racist half-mad white folks.

In light of the basic, obvious facts, ice cold facts, the players should make a decided and deliberate stand - if the percentage of Black NFL head coaches isn’t at 35% by 2023 or 2024 (in a league which the players are 70% black) then the Players Union should boycott the entire preseason schedule. If that doesn't work, they move-on to boycotting regular season games. Yes it'll take balls, brains and guts while apparently most of these “brothers” don’t have enough of any of those high character elements we saw a half a century ago with Ali, Ashe Jabbar and Jim Brown.

Million dollar slaves in a gazillion dollar industry, and as long as they keep getting paid so much moolah - we’ll only see a Colin Kaepernick every so often.

It’s that simple.

The Black players must show the sports-world what vintage 1968 “Black Power” looks like in 2023, in order to send a clear, direct and tactical message - if concrete measurable and weighable change doesn't come, there will be severe “consequences and repercussions” of the financial sort - because that’s all these fat-cats understand.

Pure, uncut Black Power is the only answer. Yes they have to grow-a-set and risk their personal treasure chest. Life is more than strippers, private parties, orgies and other forms of full-grown teenage excess . . . .

Let‘s look at the NFL situation in its entirety: the league reflects the racial bias which plagues white America. The league embodies the racial animosity, hostility, antagonism, and bitterness which is entrenched, ingrained if not eternally embedded in the very fabric of White American culture, you know that “all-American” mindset. These owners don't want to hand-over the operation to a Black man, because they believe we don't have the intellectual/business faculties required, not to mention it just don't feel right, they're just not comfortable with a seasoned leader like one time NFL head coach Jim Caldwell, but they'll take a “Great White Hope” who's 34 years-old to lead the franchise and team into gridiron battle.

One has to look no further than Hollywood or Washington DC for society-wide validation and confirmation - the socalled, self-dubbed “liberals” on Sunset Blvd. can’t find the objectivity nor inclusive mentality to cast Black in roles white folks aren’t comfortable seeing us in, the academies won't recognize our work. Just as the Democrat Party, home to the so-called elitist enlightened “good white folks” can’t bring themselves to support a Black or Latino for the highest office in the land, instead they are sidetracked, comfortable with two white men as old as dirt . . . , there safe in the eyes of White liberals who’ll more concerned about voting for a contrived and transparent openly-gay mayor - so they can illustrate how “open minded and progressive" they are - then actually nominating someone who can speak the “burning bush” truth to a clown whose skin and hair looks as if he’s been sunburned while tanning on the Sun's surface,

What's at stake? If Lord Trump gets another 4 years the fate of the nation, of black and brown folk, even that of the world . . . this man has the destiny of the globe in his tiny-ass hands….

And then to bring it back, the NFL, “Redneck round-table” of aristocratic pigskin plantation owners, of whom virtually one n’ all refuse-to hire Black men as head coaches. Black men who’ve paid their dues as players and assistant/position coaches, like the Kansas City Chiefs’ Eric Beinnemy, yet after 20 years of coaching on the league can’t “earn” a top job, instead they lose-out to 34 year-old “great white hopes/dopes” who are given positions of power and control simply, merely . . . only because they’re white.

The game-of-life, as well as the game of pro-football is so very “rigged” that it’s undeniable and unquestionable. Even when this discriminatory and exclusionary attitude is evident and on-display for all to see: 31 of 29 of 32 teams are run by white guys.

The signs which say “No Niggers need apply” have been freshly and defiantly rehung here now in the 21st century and yet, and yet . . . and yet - the leagues vastly all black labor force, the “talent,” i.e., black men, sadly most of whom tragically operate with the worldly knowledge and sophistication of 17 year old boys - they still go out on the gridiron and perform for a team, a league and its vastly Klan sheet white fan-base, who blindly supports the racist rascal in the White House . . . because they’re getting well paid.

Full-grown Black men perform, put on a what can realistically be compared to a ”minstrel show” for millions (yes millions) of white folks who wouldn’t want them as neighbors nor in-laws - out there on the field shakin’ their asses after a touchdown, tackle or sack - dancing around in a "Step-en-fetch-it” buffoonish manner which would have their grandparents flipping over in their graves - all the “shuckin n’ jivin’” done by mostly immature, mildly-educated and slightly enlightened gladiators who, dig this, check this . . . talk about just wanting to “entertain” the paying customers, the white folks in the stands and glued to some screen waging millions on whether these boys (monkeys/apes/chimps) can bring home a championship.

It’s both pathetic and trifling, to say the goddamn least.

Black people are still being relegated to the back of the bus, the back of the caboose - still being treated as sub-bar, unworthy and 3rd class - in a vast array of social areas and arenas. why don’t we, as a people see this? Why won’t we make a stand, dig-in and fight-back, use what we’ve got, to get what we want, what we are due - “societal respect” - versus capitulation and compromise in the name of money?

Somebody go put on the OJays “45,” “for the love of money” - the lost brothers in the NFL need to hear it and heed it’s words.
