You know those projects that seem to have many arms, all waving for attention at the same time? Welcome to The Black Commentator – at least for the next several weeks as we continue to work our way through myriad projects, all in an effort to regain the functions we lost when we moved to a new computer server. Some of these functions had to do with how you communicate with us, and us with you; others with how you can support The Black Commentator.

It’s been a long time since we have been able to accept new or renewed memberships/subscriptions, which is why you haven’t had to log in. Instead, we have relied on contributions from supportive readers. It’s kept us going, and we appreciate every contribution, large and small. Any contribution of $40 or more will convert to a one-year membership/subscription as soon as that function is back up and running.

We can’t continue too much longer without a steady source of income that will at least cover our costs, and with your help, we hope we can avoid having to make that decision.
