Mahomes
and
Hurts are among the real reasons why White
Folks cling to their assault rifles. Both
alpha-male gridiron “Signal Callers”
represent and embody the cultural 9.7
earthquake which has been “rockin’” and
“shakin’” this polarized land for decades.
These two ebony gladiators’ success and
prominence have fueled the long present year
White America has maintained at the prospect
of Black men coming
for
White women, coming for
White
men’s jobs, their homes, and their
lifestyles.
Did
I
say coming for White women? That’s the
scariest prospect of all for White men, and
don’t you ever doubt nor question it.
These
two
men represent assertive and hungry Black
men, and women perhaps more so, and our
newly carved-out ability to
rise up
against unfathomable odds, thrive and in the
end, prosper and actually live life and most
irritating to millions, live
like White folks.
White
America
is far past
concerned, worried,
and
scared. They’ve
moved on: they were terrified
when
Nat Turner snapped. They were horrified when
Malcolm convinced Huey P and Bobby Seals
that the answer to our problem was armed
resistance.
Integration shocked them into fleeing the
cities. When their little White boys wanted
to grow up to be
like
Mike and
Bo, and their daughters wanted to marry
those types of alpha males, well, at that
point they realized that was the canary in the
mine
moment for the White man’s absolute control
and dominance of US popular culture, of
society’s perception of Black people.
American culture, from Sports,
music, and entertainment to the workplace,
be it corporate America or Main street, to
plain old mainstream life is being
“colorized” to the horror of far too many
White folks, far too many. Where are all the
“enlightened” White folks?
White
America
knew, due to fairness and open competition
in American society, an awakening
was
occurring.
Their fake, fraudulent, artificial,
contrive, manipulated, and alas make-believe
stranglehold on talent, heart, brains, and
guts, which supposedly explained away their
monopoly on success and prosperity, would be
revealed and then destroyed, eradicated, and
replaced by fairness,
balance,
inclusion,
and diversity.
Them’s fightin’ words in Trump’s
good ol’ xenophobic US of A.
Then
came
Obama. He, like Mahomes, was the ultimate golden boy “Signal
Caller” and his two successful terms left
most of White America disgusted and reeling.
Not all, just about 75 million or say, give
or take a redneck doctor here, a good ol’
boy banker there, a Klansman over there in
that police uniform. The “end” was near,
they needed a Great
White Hope
… enter Lord Trump.
Both
Obama
and Mahomes, being biracial, represent a
particular fear and insult to White men.
White men talk endlessly about being replaced when the more
fitting and apt term is “rejected,” and “rejected”
by White women as their only choice for a
mate, and rejected by their children as
their only suitable role models. Hear me
now, I’m spittin’ salacious and hellified
fire that DeSantis’s disciples don’t want
you to hear and analyze in an AP classroom.
Can you get to that?
Mahomes
is
the product of once illegal “race mixing,”
while Hurts hails from a two-parent home
with an alpha male father. Let’s not pretend
“it ain’t what it is”. These are two
societal factors White men have worked
overtime to undermine, erase and eradicate
within their society. Strong, enlightened
Black fathers are angry, paranoid White
guys’ Kryptonite.
Interracial sexual intercourse,
race mixing and rejection are cornerstones
in White male bigotry.
You may not be able to dig this,
but dig this: everything is connected in
life, and very few elements of life lay
outside this interwoven world.
Simply
because
Black folks wanted to thrive, and sports
were one of the few categories we could
check, we’ve come to today redefine this
decadent empire’s national pastimes and make
them ours. Our success ignites a blue flame
under the behinds of millions and millions
of White folks, particularly Rednecks, but
not limited to: Hipsters, Yuppies. All
categories of White America are alarmed at the
insistence of Black folks not to accept some
inferior, secondary support role in the
story of America.
We
are
central characters on the stage of life,
constantly and consistently struggling to
get our well-deserved and earned piece of
the All-American apple pie. Our tenacity and
raw desire not
to go quietly
into the good night, our
persistence
scares,
disgusts,
and angers a large slice of White America.
They wholeheartedly believe Blacks seek
vengeance, and they think that, along with
the indigenous people of the Americas,
together we folks of color are determined,
doggedly so, to replace white folks in all
matters that matter.
That’s
why
no number of incidents of gun violence will
ever guilt Trump’s troops into giving up
their lasers and anti-aircraft guns. They
want their country back, and they are
willing to do anything to get it back - to
hell with the US
Constitution
and
the words of the “Good Book.”
We
comin’,
and
that scares them. To the point, you see the
blatant assaults on civil and human rights,
and you see the clinging to their bazookas
and urban tanks. They desperately want to
reverse the trend toward a civilized civilization.
White men yearn to go back to the days of ruling
by fear and intimidation, violence and
brutality.
Hence,
a
Black Super Bowl, with dueling alpha-male
Black Field Generals being showcased in a
league that is today 75% Black. Yeah, this
21st-century example of “Black Power” shook
the caveman’s caves. Yes, they have
determined
none of
their privileges are safe any longer - and
this scares the hell out of them.
The addition of billionaire Rihanna
showcasing the beauty and talents of women
of color sends a message about “who” and
“what” is attractive: supposedly only
Madonna and Brittany types being the
definition, the standard of “beauty.”
Why
is
the NFL 70% Black and yet the cheerleaders
are vastly Caucasian? Black and Latino women
aren’t attractive? They don’t have the
physical skills to be cheerleaders? Not
driven nor smart enough?
Where have we heard that bs before?
