Just because FOX News has axed Imperial Wizard Tucker
Carlson, it does not mean there’ll be a
“positive” change across America. The overt,
over-the-top arrogance and smugness far too
many White males embody, that lordliness, is shocking and disgusting, even to someone like
myself who believes I understand their
reckless train of thought. Most, not all, but
a significant portion of the White male
population is the embodiment of the term
“drunk with power,” and well armed. Please
don’t delude yourself, the guns are to
“defend” themselves against Black and Brown
folks.
FOX News lovin’ White men are the “prime” source of
conflict and resistance to social progress,
and to civilizing our so-called highest form
of civilization ever attained by humans.
Tucker Carlson was merely one of the
cheerleaders trying to incite a race war in
order to derail “progress.”
It’s disgusting, to say the very least.
I’ve been making this point at cocktail parties and
backyard gatherings for a decade: America’s
problem is that far too many, if not most,
White men are the problem. Let’s be blunt - Democracy in America has one enemy - the
Conservative-minded/Confederate-hearted White
man. The founding fathers, most if not all,
never thought “democracy” was intended for
people of color or women, right? And today in
2023, if they are forced to share the power,
they’d rather burn this place down before
surrendering to terms like integration, inclusivity,
diversity, fairness, and equality.
Democracy is an inconvenience for the vast majority of White
males who mark themselves as “Conservatives.”
They must navigate around and manipulate it to
their liking.
The noble goals of reforming the health industry, mass
transportation, public education, and crafting
a more compassionate capitalist system have
one oppositional force to contend with in
America - “Conservative”
White
men.
The Republican Party, i.e., the majority of mainstream
White males, are opposed to women’s rights and
equality. They want to control women’s sex
lives, as they’ve always sought to do. They
want to call Native Americans “Redskins.” They
want to keep the names of Confederate war
heroes and Indian Killers like George Custer
hung high on mountains and monuments. They
want to control gay people and force them back
into the attic and root cellar. They want to
put Blacks back in Nigger-town, Jews back in
Jew-town, and Asians assigned to China Town.
They’re opposed to Latinos crossing the Rio
Grande or navigating the Caribbean Sea to get
to the land of freedom, equality, and justice,
yet are not opposed to Nordic, Euro-WASP
brethren immigrating to America.
Who are the only people to be the victims of a US Nuclear
bomb attack, yes the Japanese, you knew it
wasn’t going to be the Germans.
And yes, I’d like to, strictly for effect and
impact, employ the before-mentioned “terms of endearment” for I
believe the vast majority of White folks use
them when not in the presence of folks of
color, which means, in this segregated and
polarized nation, all the time. However, seldom if ever to your face, always behind
your back - the epitome of passive-aggressive
deceptiveness and hypocrisy, no?
I wholeheartedly believe they’re but a few, a midget’s
handful maybe, of Trump-loving people who use
the “B” word... “Black.” No, instead, I believe they’re simply referring to us
using the same derogatory verbiage as their
parents, grandparents, great-grandparents,
etc., etc., No, they haven’t changed! It’s not
that they’ve gotten worse, it’s that most of
White America has only made a superficial,
window-dressing type change. White American
culture needs an overhaul, a
coming-to-baby-Jesus experience.
Now, if you think otherwise and doubt it, I’ve got some
real estate on the moon for you to buy. Only
$50.000 to name a “star” after yourself or a
loved one….. let’s make that deal, baby.
Mainstream White USA is vehemently opposed to Americans of
color seeking equality and power. The MAGA
wing of Tennessee illustrated that when they
tried to politically lynch and thus silence
Congressman Justin Jones and Justin Pearson.
Look to Montana, where transgender
Congresswomen Zooey Zephyr has been silenced
by MAGA leaders, and not permitted to speak on
issues related to transgender children. Too
many White men seek absolute power and
control, content to shove their way of life
down your throat.
How can you disagree with the obvious: mainstream White
males are the prime source of conflict and
resistance to progress, to civilizing our
civilization? Liberal, Progressive minded
White dudes represent a small slice of their
peer group.
Picture, in black & white, a $1.00 slice of cold
pizza, cheese, no meat, at a defunct K-Mart
cafeteria.
It is Confederate-minded White men who are still trying to
dismantle American society’s safety nets - FDR’s New Deal, LBJ’s
Great Society, and MLK’s Dream. The “Right” in America oppose the United Nations,
perhaps honestly despising the notion of a
“united” world standing against imperialism,
colonialism, and exploitation. Trump’s cult
opposes everybody and everything which isn’t, as neo-Confederate congresswoman Marjorie
Taylor Greene said, White, male, Christian…
Check it, she’ll be Lord Trump’s Vice President pick.
Here, permit me to amend my contention: Angry, half-mad
White men are “Public Enemy #1,” and they have
the assistance of over 50% of voting-age White
gals, who damn near blindly support and have
the back of their oppressive and controlling
husbands, fathers, brothers and sons, instead
of standing with their fellow Americans of
color, who share the same oppressor and
exploiter. I guess it would be betrayal, but
you can only betray someone who trusted you,
and I ain’t ever trusted Mary Poppins.
Do you think White men harbor empathy for other groups?
After what they’ve done in the last few months
to “control” women, who could argue
“Right-wing” men regard women as equal? I’d
contend, no, they don’t.
Within US society, most White men have not displayed any
real sensitivity to people from different
walks of life. No, well please just read a
10th-grade textbook, gee, simply based on
history and contemporary events - the
conclusion is undeniable. If most White guys
empathized with people, if most White guys
identified and had an affinity for and
sympathized with different diverse sects, well
then hell, they wouldn’t still be trying to
impose, against our collective will, their
form of ruthless, mean, vindictive Donald
Trump-type minority rule.
Stop me when I’m lying, otherwise…. I knew all about
Emmett Till before this latest discovery of
Black history by this generation of lost negro
neophytes. Thank God Hollywood makes movies or
Black folks wouldn’t know “who” we are,
“where” we are, and “who” we’re dealing with.
That’s so trifilin’.
Right Wing White men are the prime source of resistance to
progress, to civilizing our civilization.
Instead, they want to drag America back to
their glory days and return America to 1955.
C’mon, take the next step, people! Trump unquestionably
wants to be King of The World, while far too
many White men, and their women, their female
possessions, want Trump as their king, Lord,
dictator, Grand Dragon….
Trump’s MAGA base is well-armed poor White folks, the
well-armed working middle class, and extremely
well-armed wealthy fat cats. Young, old,
urban, rural, and suburban, i.e., a diverse,
deep, and wide chunk who share a cultural
commonality - their love of guns and their
seemingly endless and rampant racism, sexism,
and xenophobia towards “the other.”
It seems within Trump’s clan, their internal ethnocentric phobias aren’t limited to a geographical location, a religious
doctrine, or an economic standing. Educated or
uneducated, sure education seems to lend to
some type of enlightenment, but it’s no guarantee that they will be decent good
white men. None whatsoever.
From tow-truck drivers and Air Force Pilots to teachers
and preachers, bankers, butchers,
candle-sticks, and computer-chip makers,
you’ll find MAGA backers. They may dub
themselves “Libertarians” or “independents”
but at the end of the KKK parade, there they
are, supporting the Trump cult.
