The irreconcilable differences between WASP/White Anglo-Saxon America and“Americans of Color” were never more evident and prominent as they were with the passing of Great Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, and now, in the aftermath of her death. The Queen’s “symbolic relevance,” her historical representation of indisputable “White Power” - via any means required, i.e., imperialism and colonialism, is undeniable. British royalty represents and embodies the concept of“The sun never sets on the British Empire.” The empire’s span across the globe ensured that the sun was always shining on atleast one of its numerous colonies.

But at whose expense?

Colony” equals “forcibly” occupied land…against the native people’s wishes….

The sun, still till this very day, never sets on the vast empire of the crown because they employed every twisted and diabolical method available, e.g., lassie fare Genocide, to attain global domination.

India, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the South Pacific…14overseas territories lands and people who were, unquestionably, looted and pillaged in the name of the British crown.

Hell, Austria…. a British penal colony turned into another White-Man’s Land….

Great Britain is an aging, if not nearly obsolete, empire. Translation: an extensive group of states or countries under a single supreme authority, and in the case of this empire that global “authority” was attained and maintained by barbaric if not neanderthal type means.

I’m sorry, but that matters.

And the idea that the bloody construction of this empire obviously does not matter to White America speaks loudly about how very easy it is for mainstream White America to minimize, rationalize, marginalize and in the end justify, if not dismiss, the murder and mayhem which was waged all around the world to construct the empire.

So when I see people of color all wrapped up in this nonsensical fairytale, it speaks to our mis-education, our unawareness of global history, or just perhaps our self-hatred. We, too, don’t thinkall that ancient history matters today.

Negro, please! Free your mind, your ass will follow!

I’d argue it’s easy for White America to conjure up some idyllic yarn to depict the British Empire because of the obvious: it is the “Motherland” for so many White Americans, it is a consistent and constant ally in the semi-hostile world of color. America, too, was deliberately and recklessly built with the land, blood, sweat, tears, and lives of people of color.

Both empires were manufactured with violence.

In Nigeria, many are still haunted by Britain’s role in their civil war, when the global power secretly tried to prevent the Republic of Biafra’s secession efforts. In Kenya, Britain tortured thousands of rebels in detention camps, for which it apologized in 2013.

Look, I frown on the simpleminded notion of royalty. As much as I’dlike to anoint the Obamas as Black American Royalty, I understand they are human, not God-like. Now for me to place the British royal family on some pedestal or mantle, and to shed a tear over the passing of a charming woman… I just can’t do it.

And I understand Queen Elizabeth II was one of the “good ones,”better (less racist and elitist) than her forebears and peers, nevertheless….she reigned over arguably what was the epitome of the m ost barbaric machines of white supremacy, ever in the annals of time - its imperialistic enterprises are the cornerstone reasons why every single day, in cultures around the globe, non-white folks are hyper concerned that they or their kids are “too Black.”

Much of the globe has been brainwashed to hate themselves. Whoorchestrated this indoctrination? Who force-fed the propaganda down the world’s throats? The British autocracy is the heart andsoul of whiteness: an institution which has orchestrated the invasion of what, 75%, 80% of the world’s nations, authorizing andfunding some of the most savage systems of pimping and exploiting known to humankind.

Forgive me, but in my humble little mind, I can’t help but transposeFrederick Douglass thoughts on the 4th of July to the British crown… What, to the American slave, is your Fourth of July?

What to a world of color is the British crown? An institution that revealsthe gross injustice and cruelty to which the world is a constant victim. To us, your monarchy is a sham; your boasted liberty, an unholy license; your national greatness, swelling vanity; your sounds of rejoicing are empty and heartless; your denunciation of tyrants,brass-fronted impudence; your shouts of liberty and equality, hollow mockery; your prayers and hymns, your sermons and thanksgivings, with all your religious parade and solemnity, are, to the world mere bombast, fraud, deception, impiety, and hypocrisy - a thin veil to cover up crimes that would disgrace a nation of savages.

So, for White folks on both sides of the Atlantic to arrogantly assume,to carelessly presume, it is logical that much of the world would sit in front of their screens with tears running down our cheeks and a warm, glowing feeling in our hearts….only illustrates in stark Black and White the level and depth of how very disconnected, andmore trifling, disinterested with reality White folks remain.

White people, please!!!
