Racism,
sexism,
classism, and xenophobia have a new name,
it’s
Trumpism, and
it’s neither here nor there if Ron DeSantis
is the 2024 Grand Pooh-Bah nominee for the
GOP, or Lord Trump, or Handmaiden Nikki
Haley or the party’s spineless punk, Mike
Pence, or the yellow-bellied, candy-assed
house boy, Tim Scott. The Republican Party, the people who
comprise the party, are inebriated with
hatred
and
upside down
with
contempt for
virtually everyone who isn’t a card-carrying
member of the nation’s new KKK.
The Grand Old Party (GOP) should
change its name to Ku Klux Klan, i.e., KKK.
At the Conservative Political
Action Conference (CPAC) last week, Trump
offered this; “If you put me back in the
White House, their reign is over. In 2016, I
declared, ‘I am your voice.’ Today I add: I
am your warrior. I am your justice. And for
those who have been wronged and betrayed, I
am your retribution.” He went on, “This is
the final battle. They know it. I know it.
You know it. Everybody knows that this is
it,” Trump said. “Either they win or we win.
And if they win, we no longer have a
country.”
”I
am your retribution.” Ain’t that a …?
His
sinister
words personify “Trumpism” and not so oddly
please bigots like those in the KKK and
amplify the fears and phobias Klansmen have
exploited since the end of Reconstruction.
King Trump is voicing the primary,
fundamental ideology of the Ku Klux Klan,
and Nazis global-wide. I know it, you know
it, and White America knows it.
It’s inconsequential and
insignificant “who” these nut jobs nominate.
Rather, it is the fanatical right-wing
“base,” and its radicalized zealots who are
the real threat confronting America.
“Mainstream USA.” Apparently, most, (more
than 50%) White folks want to maintain the
artificially structured social
stratification they’ve manipulated over the
last few centuries.
Banning books, outlawing teachers
who deviate from the delusional MAGA
“company line.” Hunting down doctors who aid
women seeking to control their own bodies.
They’ve declared war on queer folks, no
question. “Cutthroat” capitalism, which
allows rampant greed/$750.00 insulin. Where
does this end? You don’t want to know, I
don’t think Hitler’s followers had much on
these sinister folks. If I told you they
were firing up the 3-car garage-size ovens,
who could claim that was inconceivable?!
“Everyday”
White
Americans like and enjoy being “on top,” and
have no stomach for the rat-race in which
people of color exist. Based on what we’re
witnessing, they’ll vote for a man who the
Klan endorses - if that’s what it takes to
maintain their stranglehold on security,
prosperity, affluence, and personal
contentment.
I work in an urban public high
school, and unquestionably, there are staff
and faculty entrusted to mold and shape kids
of color, yet vote for the same candidate
that members of the KKK will vote for.
Across the country there are cops, doctors,
bankers - go on down the list, yes,
individuals, who you interact with, who
laugh, smile, grin, joke, and chit-chat, and
will then turn around and vote for the same
guy the KKK is backing.
Scary as hell, isn’t it?
For
the
umpteenth time; they
may
be friendly, but they’re not your friends. Throughout my
caramel life, I’ve been surrounded by Black
folks who delusionally believe mainstream
White America, who vote for KKK-endorsed
candidates, are their friends. Thank God my
pops was a member of the Che-Lumumba
Communist
Party
which met in an LA bungalow in South Central
LA and I sat there on the floor as a kid,
along with Professor Angela Davis and other
members, and had the veil of
naive, ignorant
“House Negro” lifted.
I
was hip to not just
Iceberg Slim
but the Soledad
Brothers,
Johnathan, and George Jackson… RIP, Mao’s Little Red
Book,
and Che. I knew the Black Panther
Party 10-point Program just
like
I knew the order of the planets in the Milky
Way, baby, at age 10.
I’ve
still

45 in the attic, up there with the Undisputed
Truth’s iconic
classic
“Smiling Faces,” Do you Coco-Puffs want to
borrow them?
Let
me
tell you something, I’ve gotten hate mail forever, which always
suggests I “write about something else,”
move on to something beyond the realm of
race relations in this divided decadent
empire. Sorry, I refuse to discuss
rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I’m up in the
crow’s nest with Frederick
Fleet.
Deadly White Iceberg ahead!!!
I know, let’s talk about climate
change, or perhaps saving the white-tailed
two-toed ground sloth…. Did Amelia Earnhardt
die on a tiny South Pacific island, or did
the Japanese Army capture her? Inquiring,
snowflakes are perplexed. NBA MVP? NFL
Rookie of the year… Dumb-downed Negroes want
to know! Sure it’s interesting, and I keep
abreast of such pressing issues, yet at the
end of the day I’m much more concerned about
the rise of the KKK than I am about the XFL.
I’m just saying. I’ve always been
furious that my people are seldom serious
enough, always less interested in the issues
which really impact us, and more preoccupied
with the BS. The WASP aristocrats depend on
and count on our intellectual immaturity and
voluntary ignorance of the real issues which
matter.
Back
to
work. The KKK is the new political party of
mainstream White America, their desire is
WASP control and domination of US society.
White dominance and supremacy
by any means required.
It’s meaningless who the GOP nominates. That
individual must do the bidding of the base,
and the base is basically as racist, sexist,
and elitist as the KKK’s base.
These
are
the basics! They differ on the window
dressing, but what’s
inside the
house is still the same.
Now the tragedy is it’s so very
hard to convince Black folks of this. It’s
all those smiling Caucasian faces of all
persuasions. Sure, there are about 40
million or so enlightened and humanized
White folks who stand with Black people, yet
there are roughly 100 million who don’t.
Harriet
Tubman
arguably stated - “I freed a thousand
slaves, I could have freed a thousand more
if only they knew they were slaves.” If only
I and other Black wordsmiths could convince
Black folks we are simply tolerated, not welcomed, put
up with,
not accepted, endured
not
embraced.
Let me be perfectly clear here, I
don’t hate White people. I’ve been accused
of just that by plenty of White folks, but I
don’t. I believe butt holes come in all
shapes, sizes, and colors. Nevertheless, I
do believe American culture, White American
culture perpetuates and “keeps alive” all
the notions of White superiority and power,
as well as the false notions of people of
color being inherently and innately
inferior, inept, incompetent, and sub-par.
Even if White folks can admit the
obvious, that Blacks are 100% human, they
then conclude our culture is uncivilized if
not partially primitive. They amuse
themselves by watching the Black underclass
fight over the crumbs off Mr. Charley and
Ms. Karen’s marble tabletop. It confirms
their feelings of superiority and reinforces
their well-earned paranoia of righteous
retribution coming their way.
Black America needs a platform and
a plan to confront this mean and menacing
mindset which grips much of White America,
or my friend, we need an “Exit Strategy.”
It’s undeniable, Ron DeSantis is pushing the
KKK agenda, and it’s wildly and widely
popular.
We’re
in
Germany, mid-1930s. The goal of the right
isn’t to merely turn back the hands of time,
they want to rip the damn clock off the
wall! That’s why the rank-and-file
confederates will nominate Trump again, and
horrifically, I believe he will be, one way
or another, enthroned,
anointed, crowned,
and placed in power again.
You watch, and that’s all Black folks can do
is watch.
