CU Buffaloes, 36, Nebraska Cornhuskers 14. The biggest story in all of sports, Prime’s Buffalo Soldiers defied the highly predictable gutter-low expectations!

“We do things that have never been done, and that makes people uncomfortable,” coach Sanders said. “When you see a confident Black man, sitting up there talking his talk, walking his walk, coaching 75% African-Americans in the locker room, that’s kind of threatening (to others). Oh, they don’t like that. Guess what? We gonna consistently do what we do because I’m here and ain’t going nowhere. And I’m about to get comfortable in a minute.”

Those are the words of Coach Deion Prime Sanders, who unapologetically symbolizes audacious Black Power. And his quest for equality, respect, and power, well it’s scaring some folks to death.

Deion Sanders unabashedly personifies intrepid “Black Power.”

Coach Prime used his platform to tell the burning bush truth: “Black success, excellence, and power, in virtually any endeavor, make the entrenched WASP establishment ‘uncomfortable.’”

Those who claim to be colorblind sports fans, yet they have no regard for Black players or coaches and would prefer to maintain the entrenched and highly exploitative systemic racism entrenched in our society.

Pimpin’ ain’t easy!

A slice of Coach Prime’s critics, the ones so deeply invested in maintaining a broken system of racism and unfairness, are motivated by nothing more than their own fear and hatred. Despite their desperate attempt to continue their contorted and contrived way of doing business, Coach Prime threatens their contrived monopolization of the collegiate and professional coaching ranks.

America, White America, mainstream White Americans, hypocritically turn a blind eye to injustice by supporting Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Tommy Turberville, and a Republican Party that is driven by the oppressive force of White supremacy. These are the same people who enjoy the athleticism and artistry of Black players when it comes to their entertainment, but the moment these players attempt to use their fame and platform to push forward social progress, their voices are stifled, and their message is deemed irrelevant. This is a prime example of racism at its worst.

The second win of the newborn season, over Nebraska, was an example of “true grit.” Winning ugly…. Improvising, adapting, and overcoming, getting into a back alley brawl and beatin’ down the big farm boy bully, responding to adversity.

Putting all those myths of inferiority to rest.

Coach Prime was supposed to go into Texas Christian University’s house and crumble last weekend, and then fall to Nebraska a few days ago. He was never given the benefit of the doubt, never considered a legitimate contender by the conservative/Confederate White fan base, sports writer, and Sin City aficionados.

Instead of satisfying their gutter-low expectations, “Sanders and Sons” have shaken up the whole wide world of sports. Instead of a junkyard, Prime’s got a field of diamonds.

His accomplishments on the gridiron, as both an iconic player and up-and-coming pigskin guru, were supposed to mean nothing when facing an accomplished mastermind head coach like the alleged “Negro Whisperers” across the field.

Coach Prime wasn’t supposed to have the ability and expertise to assemble a team capable of hanging with the Big Boys and their gridiron mastermind. They were supposed to lack talent, structure, and discipline, but they didn’t. Deion has impeccable athletic gladiator credentials: 3 time all-American in football, 2 time all ACC in baseball, member of the track relay team that won ACC, all pro every year between 91 and 99. He hit .588 in the ‘92 World Series with 5 stolen bases, breathed life into HBCU football and Jackson State, and as we live and breathe he just shook up the world of collegiate football.

This is the Buffalo Soldiers Keepin’ All the Receipts Tour; Shedeur Sanders is defying all the gutter-low expectations assigned to a Black Field General - after all, he’d only excelled in the “Negro Leagues.”

See Satchel Paige.

Boys, tell us all, what does Black crow taste like?
